Grumpy Uncle Shadow

Shadow came to us a 5 week old puppy who was covered in fleas and completely dehydrated. He just turned 10 and has been a fun additon to our pack. Shadow has the high energy and seperation anxiety that is often seen in huskies. Shadow also has hip issues, which is one of the genetic traits that huskies can pass along to offspring.

Shadow was neutered early and has no AKC certiifcations. He is horrible in car rides and loves to go in and out of the house every 3 minutes. He can often be found sticking his head in the doggie door just to whine. 

Shadow is also the most gentle and expressive husky we have. You can always know what he is thining just by looking into his eyes. He will act disgruntled, but loves to be part of the pack. He will put up with the puppies but has limited patience. You can almost see him rolling his eyes when he has had enough, but he will just walk away from the chaois.

Shadow is the reason that we have such strict guidelines in our breeding program. We do genetic testing to prevent dieseases being passed along and raise our pups in a happy healthy situation until they are 8 weeks old.
